forge is a founder residency operated by adihuman ai private limited, an indian private company (the “entity”, “we”, or “forge”). these terms of service (“terms”) govern your interaction with the entity — whether as an applicant, accepted resident, mentor, advisor, partner, contractor, or visitor to forgeresidency.com. by submitting any application, signing any agreement with us, or engaging with the entity in any capacity, you agree to these terms.
1.1 intellectual property
you retain all rights and titles to intellectual property you disclose to forge. submitting such information to us — through an application, a pitch, a working session, or any other channel — grants forge a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use it internally and with selected affiliates strictly for evaluation, programming, and operational purposes, under confidentiality. no ip ownership transfers to forge by virtue of this engagement.
1.2 confidentiality and professional conduct
information you share with forge is treated as confidential. we commit to professional conduct in every interaction with you, and to an environment free from discrimination or harassment, as set out in our code of conduct.
2.1 non-binding engagement
any communication from forge — written or verbal — indicating potential interest in supporting, sponsoring, or investing in you or your project does not constitute a binding commitment. we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to continue or end any such discussion at any time prior to the execution of a legally binding agreement.
2.2 conditions precedent
forge may withdraw, cancel, or modify the terms of any prospective or actual engagement, sponsorship, or investment at any time prior to the execution of a binding agreement, without liability. acceptance into a cohort, a residency, or a partnership conversation is not in itself a binding agreement.
2.3 no equity, no cost
forge takes no equity from residents and charges residents nothing for the residency itself. costs covered by forge (accommodation, meals, travel where applicable, programming) are bound to the duration of the residency and to the relationship being in good standing.
3.1 ethical innovation
participants and forge each commit to ethical standards in technology development and deployment — including but not limited to applicable laws around data protection, user privacy, and the responsible use of ai systems.
3.2 legal and regulatory
forge and participants both shall comply with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements in their respective jurisdictions, including india's information technology act, applicable state and central tax regulations, and the laws of any jurisdiction in which a cohort is hosted.
forgeresidency.com is provided “as is” for informational and operational purposes connected with the residency. you may not (a) attempt to disrupt or compromise the site, (b) scrape it at scale without written permission, (c) misrepresent your identity or eligibility in any application or onboarding submission, or (d) submit unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent content via any of our forms.
by participating in any forge programme, residency, void, or related event, you acknowledge that photography, audio, and video may be recorded. these may be used by forge for documentation, promotion, and storytelling. specific consent preferences you provide during onboarding (e.g. inclusion on the /team page, social content permissions) will be honoured. you may withdraw consent for future use at any time by writing to adi@forgeresidency.com — already-published content may remain in circulation.
forge reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. modifications take effect on the date posted to this page or otherwise communicated. continued engagement with forge after such modification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
to the maximum extent permitted by law, adihuman ai private limited, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your participation in forge, your use of forgeresidency.com, or any engagement, application, or relationship contemplated herein.
these terms are governed by the laws of the republic of india. any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at bengaluru, karnataka, india. parties may, by mutual written agreement, refer such dispute to arbitration administered under the arbitration and conciliation act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in bengaluru.
